“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”
T.S. Eliot

This quote made me pause and reflect.  It’s true, you know.  You have more strength, more tenacity, more ability than you think, but how often do you stretch it, test it, risk it?

Recently, I was posed with a family crisis that required me to do just that.  One I didn’t want to face, be a part of, or participate in – in any way.  One that caused fear, angst and made me want to run away. I truly believed I didn’t have the strength to help.

Yet when the time came, I stepped up to the plate.

I lived in the moment, and did what felt was right.  I didn’t worry about what anyone thought, I went full tilt doing what I believed needed to be done.  I risked being judged, overstepping boundaries, and having people not like me.  It was extreme, and not everyone would agree with how I handled it.  Some might think it was too much, that it was “out there”, and overkill.

So what?

When you do that – when you step out of the box and the safe zone and jump into what needs to be done; when you jump into what you know is right and stop caring about how you look doing it, what might happen, or what people might think, the reward is greater than you can measure.

You walk away with a stronger, revived, burning in your soul to keep pushing your limits

Revel in the sense of confidence and wonder that you did what you thought you couldn’t do.
